Question for the group. What could be causing my truck to EAT throttle pedals?
I replaced it last Dec in VA. The symptoms were hurky/jerky cruise across parking lots etc, then it started to be on again off again driving down the road.
really nice when your pulling an 18K trailer up a hill and do a down shift and no accel pedal!
any way, I replaced it with a NAPA assembly cause I needed it NOW. no dealer in town. I bought an OEM a month or so later because I thought it might be better. all's good for about 3 months. suddenly I'm back to intermitant NO THROTTLE! slap the NAPA on back in. go to next Ford dealer to exchange it under warranty. Pull NAPA out install new OEM again. 3 months go by and once again driving through downtown Tucson, shift--no throttle. Sooooo
I'm back to the NAPA and wondering if I'm missing something or its just my luck to get TWO junk OEM pedals? Thoughts?
