Setting up my front axle while my frame is on the rotisserrie. I'm using a DECO caster/camber gauge that mounts on the wheel hubs and with the frame and axle dead level, the springs compressed to approximate ride height I am getting the following numbers:
Camber= +1 1/4° left
+1° Right
I am not too concerned about the camber numbers.
Caster = +3 3/4° Left
+ 5° Right
Book calls for +2 1/2° to +4 1/2°
What do you guys think of these numbers. Is my right side caster too far out to cause any problems?
I plan on going back with stock engine and front sheet metal. The only thing different will be a Ford 9" rear end. I would like to use it as a daily driver on the freeways. I don't want it to wander too bad.
