Probably. Don't you have a bronco to drive around with a 1 gallon can of gas sitting next to you on your milk crate? I'll donate the lit flare you can wave around while driving like that.

5 gal, no crate.

serious question for you karl, i'm torn between getting a fuel cell and a replacement tank. where is a good cheap place to look for a fuel cell, i think that would be a better option than the huge *** 33 gal tank hanging low in back of the bronco.

Cheap would be a plastic RCI or similar tank. Better would be an aluminum tank. Scrounge evilbay, scummit, jugs or your local craigslist.

if you don't like the 33 gallon tank Dan, the pickup rear tank is only 19 gallons and bolts rite in.

i would like a smaller tank either way, and even if i went with a replacement tank i think i'd mount it in the tub as well to keep it out of harms way. I'll have to do some price checking and weight the pros and cons of each.

Wow, gotta B pretty tough to run w/U guys ;-)

Non-mechanic came over to C how to get an 8 lug on my D44 (w/o goin 73 -9 F250, everything over 10 y/o goes to the crusher round here. Besides, don't want the HUGE disks on em). Was told (I think) hub, spindle, caliper and shafts (shortened and resplined) would work. Want the bigger U joints and plan on the sm Bud wheels ie 8 lug (16" is their smallest).
Read the whole thread (inc the dis/re-assmbly post) still can't tell...
