Why is it that people forget how to drive in the snow? I mean it pissed me off. Given the state of our state, I'm pretty freakin sure there aren't many people moving TO Michigan. Therefore, it's not very likely that this is their FIRST winter. And yeah I know that stupid Yaris doesn't go well in the snow, I don't freakin' care - I know I could drive it better than them.
Do you know they shut schools down last night before the snow even hit the ground. News channels need to find something else to do besides the weather, if any of us cost that many people time and money, and it was unfounded, he would be hung.
I am at the NWS here in ******* doing an inspection. They tell me that the weather people are taking a WAG on which model will be accurate.
When you get back over there give those guys a good talking to. Yesterday they said an inch, we got way more than that. You can't tell how much though, the wind is blowing it around like crazy. I was behind two semi trucks this morning that were stuck and couldn't get out on M23 because of drifting. That blocked up Industrial Drive pretty good. I had two more right behind me. Guess I should've pulled them out with the Super Duty eh?
We got about 18 inches according to the news idiots. Took me about an hour to plow my driveway and out to my barn, but it was so light it was fun. The roads around here are always last to be plowed so I got on my snowmobuggy and rode it down the road to the Alto Bar for a much needed brew.
I dont know, I think they called it officially 8" at my place. I shoveled already, so no chance of measuring for now..
Cold start today.. Got out and shovled the apron to the driveway, city came through and plowed our street last night, for the first time this year.
Trying to figure something out for the weekend. Originally the wife was heading to Perch fest, so the boys and I were going to be home alone..Sheryl is now not going, so I dont know what we are going to do.
