quick question on e4od please

Will a e4od from a 1994 F150 4x4 4.9L swap into a 1992 F150 4x4 with a 5.0L??? If not what parts are different? converter? flexplate? Thanks a million

The converters may have a different stall speed, but it would be a minor difference. The trans should work fine.

You ask about the flexplate...
That is a very engine specific part, as much as transmission specific.
I don't believe the 4.9 flexplate will work with a 5.0.
Even if it were to bolt up, the balance weight is unlikely to be the same.
I believe I6 engines are zero balance, while 5.0s are 50 ounces.
If you are just swapping in a replacement tranny, reuse your stock 5.0 flexplate.

Another point of concern with E4ODs of that time frame is speedometer.
Make sure the 94 uses the same speedo setup as your 92.
I don't know the exact year, but right in that time frame Ford switched from a mechanical speed sensor driven by the tranny, to an electronic version driven by the ABS reluctor in the rear end. I found out the hard way that the trannys made after the change over don't even have gears on the tail shaft to drive the earlier speed sensor and speedo cable! So, if your 92 has a sensor in the tail shaft, you must get a tranny with the geared rear shaft. The later ones still continue to have plugs for a few years, and will physically accept a speedo cable or speed sensor, but the internal shaft itself is not cut with teeth to spin the gears (and the tranny must be COMPLETELY disassembled to install another shaft).

My experience was to try the later tranny out of desperation. It shifted terrible and I didn't know how fast I was going. It lasted about 6 months this way.
