Well, you probably have the required skills to do it all yourself 
I, on the other hand, do not. It has been 30 years since I last worked on a car at this level and it was my 65 mustang - changed the engine etc... and it was fun. Now some 30 years later I lack the tools (computer geek), but not the desire - I am going to tackle the steering gear myself next weekend.
The way I see this is that it is a great way to get some new tools
Anybody near Gilbert next weekend (not this weekend) and wants some cold beer to supervise me while I do it - just let me know.
