where can i find a e40d wiring harness for a 96 f150 302 i kno there dicontinued and i called all the junk yards in my area they either dont have it or they dont wanna mess with it but i really need one any answers?

 

what is wrong with your old one? Is it possible to repair it or if worse comes you can make your own.

 

Look at the larger yards that sell parts already removed. Harnesses are a pita since they often go thru little holes and are octopusses going all over. Most people just whack the wires off as they remove a part they wanted.

If by wild chance you live in Oregon, there were several nice big yards along Division east of the 205 around 111th street that carried parts stacked up in their warehouse, INCLUDING wiring harnesses. Recollection is that they started around $100 and up and this was around 1997.

Also try looking a eBay, they sell a lot of parts including harnesses. Be sure to check that the harness is complete before you buy.

May be easier to just repair the section you need. Many bigger auto parts stores sell the connectors.
