Parking brake light issues??
I just burned up a set of rear disc pads because I left my parking brake on! What really burns (pardon the pun) is that the dash parking brake light didn't illuminate. Investigating reveals the following: 1. The light flashes on momentarily at START, as part of the power on test, so I know the light bulb is OK. 2. The wiring to the parking brake switch seems to be OK. Any ideas? PS: My truck is a 2000, no mods, tunes etc.

Other than I have been fighting this same darn issue, no. Subscribing cuz it is killing me! I can't get the light to illum for nothin'. I crunch the pedal and no light. But it will illum during the key on test.
