differance in frames
I am toying with the idea of taking a 66 frame put a mustang 2 suspension on it with a rack and pinion steering, rigging dics brakes all around getting a rolling chasis in place and then droping everything from my 62 onto it.
Or am I just crazy?

Have you thought about the Crown vic swap?
I can get them in my area for $350-$400. It has larger brakes, R+P steering, and was designed for a car weighing 4500 pounds. Or roughly 1000 pounds more then a F100.
