HPX Fitting Question

Looking into making my own HPX, my question is though what size fitting and what type do i need for the plugs in the head? I have access to most any hydraulic fitting there is just gotta know what you order. Thanks in advance.

I've heard a few guys make their own, but in all honesty. buy one.
If it pops on you, your done for.
Well, not really, but you'll be outa oil quick, and motor will shut off.

talking 5k psi at times or more, with high heat hose thats .
yeah,
Hardline for the win buddy. =)

5k psi??? Try more like 3000psi. You might see 4000psi in a spike, but it should not see 5k or more.. ever. I do agree with William though. Buy one and be done with it. Either a stainless braided line or hard line either way. They are cheap enough that there is no reason to build your own IMO.

Well see I work for Napa, and have access to all fittings and hoses that Gates offers, not to mention i can make a phone call or two and have stainless steel line on order for me, so i'm set as long as i know what i need to order.

AW GEE and to think we work with 5000 PSI on Heavy aircraft and its the polyester crap that will burn the skin on your never never if you get any on it. But, it does take special swaging equipment.
