2003 6.0 FICM problem
i have a 2003 f250 6.0 it has a banks six gun with speed loader i went to start it the other day and warm it up and it ran for a while then stalled out then restarted no problem, drove it and while driving it stalled going down the road and again restarted no problem. Then i changed the fuel filters and had it stall again while idling. drove it now i am seeing slight white smoke in the exhaust. and the batteries were dead, second time on that is it possible for a bad ficm to drain the batteries while sitting or for bad batteries to cause problems with the ficm? although once truck is running it should be the alternator putting the voltage there. but i think batteries for sure and probably a rebuild of the ficm. i thought when the ficm goes bad you cant restart it. any advise will be greatly appreciated thanks.
