Ford 352 engine

Hey gents. sorry for the first post being a question. Ive got a old 352 from a 1967 ford. the engine runs great and doesnt smoke or have any issues. its got a np 435 with a divorced dana 21 t case. i was told that this engine is somewhat rare, is that the case? if so what would you estimate the value?

Thanks,

Tim

Welcome to FTE

The 352 would be considered rare, but only if it was in...Antarctica!

352's were installed (as an option) in 1958/67 Ford Passenger Cars, 1958/60 Thunderbird's (standard equipment), 1960 Edsel's, 1965/67 F100/350's.

Millions were made.

It is probably worth more to a guy trying to recreate an original or for someone who is in a bind and needs a motor. The problem for me is they are a little odd. The cylinder bores are smaller than a 360/390 but it shares the 360 crank. It is easier to buy a burnt up 360 and build up from there. I would give a couple $$$ for one only if I needed something to drop in in a hurry and wasn't concerned about HP, other than that, you can substitute a 390 in it's place without any modifications.

Prolly $250-300.00 and that would apply to a 390 as well.
