Does anyone know the overall length of the 04 F150 XLT 4x4 Supercab/4 door? I can't seem to find it online. I'd be an owner of an 03 right now, sweet deals, but my garage is just 1/4" longer than the truck((((, and, a standard cab isn't gonna cut it.

 

The Flareside is 218"
The Styleside is 229"
and
The Supercrew w/styleside 8' box is 248"<
and Supercrew w/stepside 5 1/2' box is 224" long

 

the 04 screw has a 8 foot bed????

 

There are 6 configurations, 8 if you count styleside vs. flareside:

Regular-cab 6.5' bed (211.5" long, styleside or flareside)
Regular-cab 8' bed (230.1" long, styleside only)
Supercab 5.5' bed (218" long, styleside only)
Supercab 6.5' bed (228.8" long, styleside or flareside)
Supercab 8' bed (248.6" long, styleside only)
Supercrew 5.5' bed (224" long, styleside only)

The only big change is that you'll be able to get the tiny supercrew bed with the supercab now - and the supercrew will still only be available with the extra-short shortbed.

If Ford's numbers are correct, the Supercab w/the 6.5' bed will be 3 inches longer than the current truck - so the only supercab you'll be able to get into the garage is with the short 5.5' bed, or it looks like the Supercrew would fit.

I doubt they would lie in that ?

 

I got my numbers directly from Ford's website - the same page that IL6fan posted the link to.

As far as why there'd be differences between that and the brochure, I have no idea - perhaps the brochures were printed before they had final production info?

Unless things have changed, I don't think they're planning on a Supercrew with an 8' bed - at least not at first, maybe they're planning to introduce one later. If they were, its length would be about 254.6" long (judging from the lengths of the Supercrew combos).

Thanks for all the feedback guys I'm happy to hear that they are offering the supercab with a 5 1/2 foot bed (not that I wouldn't prefer the 6 1/2). The agony of my garage being just a bit to short kills me, and a brick house is not easily modified to fit the longer rig

 

billy, tow ur garage to ur one of ur neighbors and build a new one that is 30 feet long!

 

LOL, the garage is attached to the house and it's a brick house so it'd cost a fortune. If I was gonna live here longer, I'd just build one, but heck, more acreage is calling my name
