I bet it just froze. Let it idle for a while and keep an eye on the gauges.

Well it turned out to be the thermostat. Went back down to the truck last night, picked one up and threw it in and was good to go! Thanks guys!

Yep,Just broke one off last month. Had to drill it out and install a bolt.

What about your coolant?? good time to flush and replace with the tremps you are experiancing.

Coolant in his truck is about 10 months old, just went in late March last year with the engine rebuild.
It is possible that it is not a strong enough mix for the temps though. Another thing to check.
