Thats sad eh, at 33 years old, a person is just getting into some good parts of life.
Reminds me of the time I was heading out to pick up my ol lady from work In Chilliwack. I left the house, but came back because i forgot my wallet. I headed towards the mountain in my f150, and two cops flew past me, to stop traffic. Not even 5 minutes before, a young guy on a crotch rocket was negotiating a turn, turned to fast, and ran head on into a mini van, killing himself instantly. If I would have remembered my wallet, he would have ran head on into my truck.

This is a terrible tradgedy. There's no way to make this better, but I hope the person at fault realizes what they have done. Is there any details as to wether or not the person was DUI? Using an electronic device? Just a fatal OOPS? Or did the pedestrian slip into traffic?

Details are still very sketchy, no news tho it sounded like this lady was trying to cross the street or else she was hit on the sidewalk crossing into the mall entrance.
I heard that she worked at Sobey`s grocery store in that mall and possibly it was a water truck?

Well as it turns out my current land loard is next door neighbors and good friends with this womans parents. It sounds like the truck was turning right onto eight street but the driver was concetrating on looking at oncoming traffic to his left, never minded to check to his right and procedded. The womans clothing must have got caught on a part of the vehichle or something like, and as we know dragged her along partially under a rear wheel

Oh my. Thats terrible. Never good to offer words of wisdom now, but when being a pedestrian, its equally as important to make sure its safe to cross. If you haven't made eye contact with the person driving the vehicle you step in front of, this is exactly what happens. Very sad.
