underdash leak

I was cleaning my floors when I noticed my carpet was stained up under the steering wheel.
Looks like it might be brake fluid ,but my level is up?
Could brake fluid leak in from the master cyl?

It is probably trans fluid from the hydro boost. These trucks power brake boost os from the power steering. Hope this helps.

Check the level in your power steering reservoir .

So where could it be leaking from?
I dont see any lines under the dash?

On the old vacuum boosters, the brake pedal connecting rod goes thru the booster and then to the master cylinder.. I "guess" the same thing applies on our Hydro booster, so the seal around this shaft might be leaking and coming thru the firewall.. Did you look up above the brake pedal on the firewall for any moisture ??
