2002 misfire codes

I have a 2002 F150 with a 5.4 and 255k miles. I have replaced 5 or 6 coils over time and a new intake manifold last year. I currently have a nasty misfire problem and want to do the coil(s) myself.

So, I got the codes and thought it would be simple. But, I was given 4 different codes. In the past it's always been only one coil. Why are there 4 codes? I figured I could do the mechanical part myself. In the past I've paid from $250 to $300 per coil to have this done. I want to do it myself.

Any sugestions?

These are the codes.
P0303
P0308
P0316
P0301

I'm broke and still love my truck.

1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8. You have failures on 1-3-8. I would clear the codes and start over. See if they all come back. It does seem odd that 8-1-3 are right in a row ?? in firing order . Possibly #1 is the problem and it is so bad it effects a cylinder on either side of it ?

Code 301 is cylinder 1, 303 is #3 and 308 is #8.
The cylinder count begins on the passenger front to rear, then driver side from the front to rear.
The 316 code is just reporting missfires upon cranking and inital startup.
It could be plugs, coil boots, coils or moisture in the wells causing the issue.
Do not run the truck with any missfire or you take the chance of losing the cats to overheating by burning raw fuel in them.
Best to measure each coil for an open winding on primary or secondary.
Resistance "values" mean nothing on these coils.
