Hi everyone,
I'm going to hit the BIG 40 this year and I finally got my first Bronco! My wife got this for me on Christmas. It's a 1991 Eddie Bauer fully loaded with 5.8L that was rebuilt. It only needs some front seats, the passenger one is broke and the driver leans to the right some. If anyone has a hook-up on some front seats please let me know? I live in California (94513) and have looked everywhere for some seats. Im evan thinking about a complete seat swap??? It would just complete this Bronco. Thanks to eveyone for there your help.
Welcome to FTE and the Big Bronco Forum. We will do our best to get you the most accurate information we can dig up.
Congrats on the acquisition. Your wife and mine would get along great. Mine bought me new valve train components for the 300 going into mine for Christmas. The seats from ANY F-Series truck/Bronco from about 1980-96 will fit in that Bronco. Keep an eye on the local salvage yard and jump on the first good set that comes through the gate.
Sounds like we have some very cool wife's. I have been to every junk yard and searched Craigslist everyday for Bronco and any F-series truck with no luck. I was hoping someone might have a line on a set....lol. Seems everyone is looking for them. I did find one seat out of a 1988 but he wants $250.00 for the pair...?
If they are in good shape you might do alright there. But they would have to be in pristine condition to command that kind of money for a set of seats that old. Especially when you consider what age and the elements do to fabric and leather. Interior parts are pricey simply because most folks don't know how to fabricate or maintain upholstery and fabrics like they do nuts and bolts and machine components.
