starting problems

Does anyone know where I can find a lower radiator water jacket heater? I have heard of a propane heater as well that you can light when away from a power source. For like when your out hunting somewhere.

I am also trying to find a grill bra. I would also like to know the best power upgrades out side of adding propane. thanks

What is your application?

Temp range?

What are you trying to accomplish?

I think he is trying to use propane as a heater to heat up his coolant for easier starts. I personally don't think that heating the coolant at the rad will help your application. If it were me I would install a remote starter that will start the truck when the temp drops down to a preset limiot and then will start on it's own for a pre-determined amount of time (10min.). I have a remote start/alarm with these features, use it when I go camping up here in Canada. Called AutoPage.

I hunt alot and can't start my pickup every ten minutes or even through the night as it scares the game. I have heard of a propane type heater that takes the little half pound bottles to heat up your engine for starting

Available at Wal-Mart, just set it under the oil pan if there is room. I think it is called the "Lil Buddy", but beware of propane heaters, alot of them won't work above 10,000ft!
