Front Bumper

Been seriously debating adding a new front bumper to my 92 bronco, bronco air is my #1 choice so far. I have just the leveling kit on it and i do not plan on lifting it any higher. Just trying to imagine how it would look , any commentS appreciated --pro and conn , this will be the start of my upgrades for 2011, engine, bumper/ winch , new carpet interior TR

The one pictured @ Bronco Air is a 95 if I recall correctly. Yours should appear just as it does with the exception of color. I think its sitting on a few inches of lift too. I personally love the look of BOTH of the bumpers they make. They are pricey though especially if you start adding things like winch mounts, light holes, shackle tabs and brush guards (If you ask me, brush guards give most trucks the "poser" look).

Serious grill guards have their place - like out here where there can be Elk, Moose or Bison wandering into the road. Those BroncoAir bumpers look really nice, but the cost! Outfitted with the light mounts, etc. a bumper would cost almost half of what our Bronco cost us!

I do agree that in the right environment a serious brush guard is a necessity. I live in the city... and those that I see are gleaming chrome numbers with matching "taillight grilles" on the aft end of the truck that will never have any reason to protect the corners of the truck anyway. A brush guard should have a purpose. But then I consider any soccer-mom-suv a poser vehicle anyway. You just don't need all that to traverse a soccer field or the "urban jungle". --steps down from soapbox, picks it up and exits stage left.--

I love the Iron Bulls, eventually, after a raise or a major relationship change, I'm getting one.

and if you offroad, a brush guard is a must. I bought a new headlight for my Bronco, expensive, crystal clear, pretty.. one trip out on some trails and, well, I left my negative opinion of brush guards back at the trail with my corner lenses... stupid trees

I like traveling and off-roading, and stray cattle can be quite stupid, so i think i would like a brush guard (i also like the appearance).

Thanks for all the input , my 1985 has a grill gaurd and yes it has came in handy in so many ways, course the cost was around 200 bux ,compared to a nice bumper . I know the cost are high but as i plan on keeping the bronco, (a winch would be very handy in the future )its hard to just order it as i can think of many things to do with the money(wife-also). So i will ponder it for a couple more months and keep looking -hard to find used things like this but i hope eventually to get that bronco air(my choice for now)TR
