Rebuilt 302 Problems
I have a '71 model 302 that I just completed a stock rebuild on. This was my first complete rebuild, so I bought a book and went through it step by step. I went to fire the engine in the truck to break the cam in but it wont rev without the engine missing and losing power. I it came to an idle for a few seconds (I know thats not good) and it was firing on all 8. I need some help. I don't know what to do next.

Stock rebuild:
- New crank and rod bearings
- New pistons and rings
- New stock cam
- Rebuilt stock heads
Has a autolite/motorcraft 2 barrel that I put rebuild kit in, and it has a points type distributor.
