Are you going to put in a 4" DP. I put in a 3 1/2" and it was almost impossible.

Ya, buy a 3-4 inch downpipe. If you try to squeeze a 4 inch up the firewall you will be there for days...

it will be a whole lot easier with the 3 inch body lift on. thats why its not on yet waiting to do the body lift first then put it on. i know its tight and i dont want to have to bash in my floor pan.

Tymar 3 to 4 worked great for me & it still required some time under the truck modifying the firewall. Either way on the look.

the exhaust looks good but that 4 in dp seems like a waste, my tymar 3-4 took a little time. But whats really the extra gain of the 1 in?

well i will have plenty of room with the 3 inch body lift so i wanted to get as much air flow as possible and its only $85 bucks so why not?

I have always wondered what glass packs sounded like on a diesel? Does it sound kinda like a gas motor or louder? I have heard many PS with with aftermarket exhaust but to be honest they sound pretty tame maybe becuase of the larger dia pipe?

Just wondering?

well it doesnt sound like a gas motor. there is alot more rumble at idle than it had before. as you get on it though you have to get the rpms up to make it sound good. i need to get the bigger downtube on so i can move more air through the system and that will make it louder. it will get louder once the glass packs break in though.
