thanks guys. for the rear, i did clamp it in place a couple different times to determine where i wanted it to be. there's another posting on here from a two days ago and theres pics of how i clamped it. the place where i got them recomended 1.5" forward of stock mounts. but i think mine came out to 2 1/4? i cant remember now. it is a tad too far, bc its kind of raked forward, but maybe with the weight of the bed on it, it wont be soo bad...but, overall, im happy with it

XXXXXXXX......CORRECTION on 02JAN11... according to 79FordBlake on Page 2, the driveshaft is installed correctly. I have no problem admitting when I am wrong.
Nice rig. Say, where'd you get those arms on the deck holding the light fixtures?

Your driveshaft is correct the way it is, slip yoke at the axle, double cardon joint at the T-case. It won't bolt in if you try to flip it.
Those lights are just magnetic tow lights. You can buy them at any Harbor Freight, Northrn Tool or any RV place. They just plug into a four prong trailer light connector.

Now that I don't know for sure but I know mine has one front and back and I have seen 3 other Broncos that had one front and back. No telling after 30yrs but they work great this way.
My drive shaft is installed the same way his is and the cardone joint is at the t-case, I have seen many this way. Unless that is different with Broncos to.
