really rough idle

really rough idle
Truck just started idling rough, to the point of acting like its running on two or three cylinders instead of 8. Under a low load does not respond well at all, but when given more gas comes out of it and revs up strong and runs strong.
I just put 3 gallons of gas in it when it was nearly out instead of filling it up two days ago. Drove it yesterday for 5 or 6 miles and noticed something didnt feel quite right at a idle. Today it started doing what I stated above. Could it be bad gas, or is there a vacuum problem etc?
Can somebody please give me some sound advice for me to troubleshoot and fix this?

New plugs and wires 6 months ago with new dist. cap, rotor, and coil. I just put a bottle of heat in last night so hopefully that will take care of any gas problems. If that doesnt fix it then it must be a vac. line has come off somewhere or cracked I would guess.
