running boards

new baby on the way and wife wants me to get running boards. I dont want them but what the wife says goes. 03 super crew. any suggestions on running boards? pref. not too expensive, cause they will be coming off when kid can climb lol

Check places like Craigs list. My son has a 99 F150 that had the factory or dealer installed ones on it he took them off sold em on Craigs list for $125.00

Running boards

I just put Dee Zee black nerfs on my 03' black FX4 Ext cab and they are nearly unnoticeable, cost was 211.00 and took about an hour to install on the floor alone in my garage.
I felt like you about them being on my ride but honestly don't mind the looks now that there on.

I like the nerf bars better. running boards look wierd. what about just the small side step bars that you can just put a foot on. those are alot cheaper.
