well...since it was running before, it doesn't seem like you have a fuel delivery issue. unfortunately, that puts me fresh out of ideas.

good luck...i'll keep an eye on this thread to see how things go.

Do you have spark at the spark plugs? I've seen bad caps do this, also a rotor. If those are good make sure you don't have the dist 180° out. I've done this myself.

argh! don't you hate it when a $10 problem keeps you off the road for days?

glad you got it sorted out, and that it was a minor problem.

It's running/idling good. The cap was firing intermittently, on and off, at random. Ran out of daylight before I got the curb idle speed adjusted and carb dialed in. That comes this morning...then it's tires, muffler, shift collar and inspection sticker. Texas loves to collect a pound of flesh/$$$ for vehicle registration.
