so im getting ready to spray my truck (and have no clue when it comes to guns), and have been shopping around for a nice paint gun. the problem is that my compressor will only push about 9 cfm. I have found a few guns that i could use but there close to 400$. If anyone could recommend some some guns around the 200$ range and low cfm ratings. I would be forever thankful. the closest Ive come is a SRI pro for 350$. reguardless i am truly lost...
thanks guys. action4478 i actually had looked at those but i was worried that i might not be able to source any parts for them, and was wondering how well built they were. I really like the concours guns i think thats one im going to go with. thanks again guys

I have many of them , the last set I have used for 3 or 4 years & I paint nearly every day ...
sorry i found it. i guess since you do a lot of painting, the question i should ask is do you think this would be a good set for a guy who is going to paint for the first time and knows nothing about it? A little info about the project, its a restore had it media blasted and new sheet metal welded in everywhere. so its bare steel. when it comes to the paint I want it to turn out like I had a clue what I was doing. so figured I should at least get a paint gun that would ease the learning curve. what do you think

I like my Devilbiss Finishline III, affordable and more than adequate for the hobbyist, but I believe it requires more CFM than you have to work with. You could check and make sure. I quit looking at CFM requirements when I bought my last compressor(7.5HP 23CFM)
i looked at that one also. 13 cfm. that one was recommened to me when i was at the paint shop. actually bought it and when i got home dicovered my compressor wasent as cool as i thought. bought it when i was young and didnt know any better
