Super Duty Diesel Van?
I need to buy a van and have a Mobility conversion done, with the millage and towing needs I want a Diesel package.
I can't seem to find the right answers the Dealers are telling me its NOT a option the ford commercial site says different...
I want a 2011 HD Diesel Van with all the bells and whistles. I will need to get in modified afterwards.
The only package I found is GMC..and who the hell wants GMC...

I was reading a review, one of their Cons for the E-350 is no diesel option.

There are several ways for you to get one:
The last one made on a E van is in the early 2010 model year, until they ran out of engines.
Most of that went to ambulance builders.
Ford do not currently make a E series Diesel. Period. Not as a Van, not as a cutaway.

The other way is to get an F Series Chassis cab with the 6.7 diesel:

Build your own box...
And off you go.
Or get a F-350 / 6.7 and do the same.

No, they quit making it because the 6.4 had issues fitting in the form factor of the van.
So they ran the 6.0 until 2009 end when EPA 2010 came along --- and they ran out of engines.
The 6.7 probably have the fitment problems.
If you have trouble with the 6.0, come to the 6.0 forum...
