Cab / Body Change
I have a '71 F-100 SWB that I bought for a parts truck and I'm considering putting it on an '84 F-150 4X4 SWB frame and chasis. Has anyone done this switch? Any thoughts, advice or ideas are greatly appreciated.

Anything can be done with a welder a grinder and plenty of time.
Nothing is going to be a direct bolt over, but bieng 2 generations away lots could of changed.
If you really want to do it I would build in a small body lift so you have flexability.
