i have 7 lug rims off a 1997 f150 with the 7700 pound package. i cant for the life of me find a place to sell them. is there a person in the world with a truck that these fit? any help would be great. thanks.
those only came on the hd f150 and the light duty f250,and i believe only in that year, so sorry to say but chances are you'd be better off scrapping them to try and get some cash out of them. not very common or desired.
You can try and sell them in our classifieds if you haven't already. Those trucks have been made for over 10 years but are not as common as the regular 1/2 ton or SD. If you happen to need one, they can be very desirable. There are aftermarket 7-lug wheels but there is a price to be paid for getting them.

I have a '97 F250 with the 7 lug wheels.
Where are you located?
OK guys what you talk about. I needed spare tire (including rim) for my F250 and found a tons here in Mpls with 7 holes in November. I chose one brand new rim at John's auto parts in Blaine Mn for 50$. What rare and expensiwe you talk about?
If you have the nice chrome looking ones there is one thing to look for. With enough time, the chrome cover is forced off the wheel as the expoxy looses it grip . Once it starts lifting, you cannot keep the center cap on. I suspect that water gets in, freezes, and pushes the cover off. You can spot these either by trying to fit a center cap or by looking at the wheel. If the cover is lifted from the wheel, the expoxy is failing.
i got rid of the 7 lug truck and i am just trying to sell these rims to get money for 8 lug rims to fit my 96 f250. i also checked your gallery and the rims i have are the same thing.
