Exclamation Help!!! Completely Dead

My battery wiring harness was corroded causing starting issues, so I decided to change the entire battery harness with factory OEM part. Got in there finished the job and now the entire cab is dead! I have good ground at frame and could start the truck by jumping the solenoid terminals.

I tried to pull codes, no joy because there's no power in the cab.

This is our primary vehicle so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

IIRC this same thing happened to me when I replaced my cable. From what I remember I reversed some of the wires on the main fuse block that is bolted to the firewall. There are 2 big wires on each side of it and a plastic cover that covers the actual fuse/circuitbreakers.

Thumbs up

You nailed it, I went out and grabbed my original harness and fit it up to see if I'd flipped the solenoid connector and sure enough. Flip it to correct orientation and vroom!

In the immortal words from Fred Sanford to me "You big dummy, see what you did!"

Thanks for the quick reply.
