300 build up

Can anyone give me a list of parts or sites that i can use to build up my 84 300-6. i have tried looking, but i am having a rough time finding anything. and i also need to keep all my emissions equip on, unless anyone here knows loophole around Missouri law!

Well, if they are überstrict, about all you can do is cam it and port the head a bit. If you can get away with just 'must pass a sniffer' then you're pretty much good to go. Damn near anything that is properly tuned can pass a sniffer (my friends supercharged (15psi) 347 ford running leaded CAM2 with a bone stock computer passed (seriously, I was amazed)).

The reason you're kinda up a creek if they are strict is because you've got the feedback carb and TFI ignition. Also, I don't think anything they make for the 300 is C.A.R.B. legal.

well, i don't actually get smog tested, they just check to see if the stuff is all on there, it doesn't have to work. for example, i keep my smog pump around just so i can bolt back on for inspection time

What loop holes are you looking for , there are many ways to get thru and inspection , I am a state inspector my self and do at least 3 or 4 a day . But just for you know the book say's you must have in place all componets that yout truck was built with .. Now they do not care if they work as long as there on there..
