wiring a stereo.

I got a new stereo and my old one was hooked up to the battery and i don't dig that to much cause i forget to turn it off sometimes. I want to wire my new one up to only work when the key is on but i can't figure out what hot wire to use. I tried to tie it in on a hot wire that i thought only worked with the key on however i tried it and its just like having it hooked up to the battery. I may just leave it the way it is cause i like how its hooked up now better than i had it before because its not DIRECTLY to the battery and i don't have a long hot wire running along my engine bay waiting to get nicked and cause problems. anyway anyone know what i can tie into?

Yellow/black-hash = fused, key-on radio power
Green/yellow-stripe = fused, continuous power for clock memory
Light blue/red-stripe = fused, dimmable dash backlighting
Black = ground

Pull the radio out, and dig around behind it in the wiring and look for a yellow/black dot wire. That was the original radio hot wire and turned on and off with the key. If you find it, and it's dead, make sure the fuse for it is good and in place. It will be the one right in the middle of the fuse box (F10).
