Well here the best part bout the year vin says 70, but 70 had lights at the rear of the bed(on the side). I have reflectors. But i do know that i need the 28 spline 29 5/16 lenght axle. Its not a 67 with the smaller rear brakes.

Sorry, that's in-correct.
1969 F100/350's from serial number F70,001 had lamps, as did 1970/72's. 1969's before serial number F70,001 and 1968's had reflectors.
1969 F Series truck serial number range: D82,001 thru G30,000 / 1970 F Series truck serial numbers begin with G30,001.
If the truck is an F100 with a 9 inch, there is no such thing as a clip used to retain the axle.
C8TZ4234A .. 28 Spline Axleshaft / Obsolete / 29 15/16" long measured from the inside of the flange to the splined end / Fits: 1968/72 F100 w/a 9" Rear Axle.
The bearing and seal were sold separately by FoMoCo.
I realize that the vins don't match the lights or reflectors. 99% sure that either cab or bed was replaced on the frame. Thats the problem, which one is correct compared to the rear end? But apparently it doesn't matter they are interchangable. I found some in a junkyard for $50 total, but thanks for the help.
