Which oil pan?

Which oil pan do I need for our truck a front sump or rear? I ask because the 302 We are pulling has a split pan to clear the cross member in the car it is in.

I have a Mustang 5.0 (I am told it is mid to late 90's) and it has a double sump. However I do believe they used the original FE mounts and it sits higher than it should. I don't know how much lower it would sit with the proper mounts. If it doesn't drop it anymore than a couple of inches you should be ok with the double sump.
