Will this head gasket work?

Hey guys I found some head gaskets on ebay that are International Part Number 1847028C96 or Ford # 3C3Z-6051-CA. It say it will only work on trucks 9-30-03 and before. I thought all 2003- Jan 2006 took the same 18mm head gasket. My truck was manufactured 10/03 so if these will work let me know. Thanks

This is for one side, contains one gasket, ten head bolts, oil tube and two dowel pins.

If you are going to this much trouble... and still have to find the other side... aren't you better off to just get it from a reputable vendor who gives great prices and service (and I have never heard of him getting a part wrong) like partsguyed.com

The only way to know for certain is with a VIN, not a model year.

Or you can take the engine serial number off the engine.

I somehow think you got the wrong part... and 69cj is right, as he usually is.

I see plenty of people mugged on eBay... suit yourself.

Partsguyed.com (I would email him) would never scam you.

But then, I send people to buy OEM Ford alternators... and so on.

Include your VIN... so there is no doubt.

Think of the amount of grief involved when you open up your ride, and find the HGs are wrong, and the eBay vendor washes their hand of it because it is "used"/

Is that worth it for $100? If that is the difference... I doubt it.

I have found EGR valves that are duds on ebay (cleaned).

etc. etc. etc.
