How do I know if my o-rings on my injectors are cut or seated properly when I installed my injectors. My brother in law was following one day and said there is a slight blue haze out of my exhaust pipe. Also noticed that I'm using a little more oil then before. Also would it affect my idle and fuel mileage?

Only way to know for sure is to pull them out and look.

I pulled number 2 just to swap it with number 8. (knocky #8) To see if the knocking would get better. After pulling number 2 i found a bad oring.. It was total Luck that i grabbed that one. I almost swapped out #4 with #8.. I had no issues other than the Knock. My Knock is totally gone now since i done this. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/9...oring-pic.html
How many miles have you put on since you swapped out the injector? I wonder if some of the oil is still in the exhaust. Mine smoked out the pipe for a good 30 miles or so until all the oil was out of the exhaust.

thread hijack...sorry bud, but had to ask, since i got a "knock". If the #8 is different, "you can" swap into nutha locations injector, and try it out?, or can i install same injector as the other 7, and find out?
I didn't have a LL in the #8. Took that out long ago with supporting fuel mods to try to get rid of my knock. That didn't work. had two injectors in the #8 hole. Both knocked.
Not up to speed on sticking a LL in a different hole. But to try i wouldn't think it would not hurt. Not sure. The only thing i can think of is my #2 oring was leaking air into the system and it caused #8 to knock. Not sure there also. Just guessing but my knock is gone.
In my experience, Not much with injectors. Your #8 knock is from a different issue and not the #8 injector itself.
