If you didn't buy an EPOXY floor product take it back! it will not stand up to hot tires and will not last even 6 months..... how do i know? i'm a licensed painting contractor and have done many floors in the past, If you do not use the clear top coat dont even bother doing it, you want to use the whole system. just my opinion.
Just go to a qwik lube place and get a 5 gallon bucket of used oil spread it on eht whole floor and then it will all match and have a good sealent on it
Plain Old Paint thinner will remove it... poure it on and cover it with a sheet of plastic to to allow it work its magic, just powerwash it after you let it set for a day.
Use a water based product. Both will seal the concrete adequately for residential needs but the water based is easier to use an much lower odor.
If there is discoloration that you don't want to bleed through the stain, old glues, or other imperfections use TSP (Tri Sodium Phosphate) to clean the concrete first.
Open the garage door. Remove your vehicles and stuff. Shut off the lights & put on a mask. Spray a large can or 2 of Starting Fluid on the oil spot. Back out the open roll up door. Light up & throw the match away. Guaranteed….…
