focus dead on road

2000 ford focus bro is coming home from a trip to manitoba, stranded in moosejaw. ran fine until shutdown, now no lights anywhere inside or out, even key on dash is dead. any place in particular to check? any ideas or help appreciated

I had stalling-at-idle issues with my wife's 2007 focus, but a cam position sensor changeout fixed that.
Can't figure what might be your problem... Check fuses?

Start with the battery terminals for a bad connection.
