Does anyone know where to get the fuel line that runs from the fuel filter to the center of the ip? Mine was leaking and it looks like the O ring in the fitting is all chewed up. I've had the ip out 4 times in the last 12 months and I think a combination of age and over use finally wore it out.
sorry for the double post... if i remember right you can get the lines from international for about 50 bucks a piece someone told me... i don't know the part number though
The seals are a straight walled design sorta like a piece of small rubber hose. If you can't find them at a ford dealer near you you can go to a good hardware store and find them. It is not only a seal but also a vibration isolator. I can't remeber the actual name of them but they are used on other applications as well.
the part # is on this https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/p...ictureid=46632
IH can get it for you or ford i got mine from a ford/peterbilt dealer i think it was $20 order an extra seal because mine only came with 1
The line from the Fuel Filter to the IP is low-pressure.
The parts truck I bought must have had a busted line also because each threaded end was screwed into their places with rubber fuel hose in the middle.
Seals, the other guys got ya covered on those.
I had the ame problem shortly after I got my 87 f250. I replaced the fitting in the IP with a barb fitting and used regular rubber type hose fuel line to hook the pump to the IP.
