Sequential MAF injection on a 300
(1) First, did Ford, in fact, make a MAF based sequential fuel injection system on 1995 and 1996 300 motors? The answers I have gotten are all over the place- yes, no, only some emissions packages were MAF/sequential, yes but they are OBDII, yes but they are OBD-I.
(2) Second, if so, what years and models were MAF/sequential injection?
(3) Third, if so, what EFI computer part number or program code would I look for in shopping for a system?
(4) If Ford did NOT make a MAF/Sequential injection system for the 300, is it possible to use the computer from a 5.0 or 5.8 MAF/sequential injection system with a 300 six cylinder motor? I know there are two extra cylinders to contend with, but I have read some people say that there are Ford six cylinder injection systems that use the same computer as the 302.
I am actually asking these questions because i am trying to adapt the Ford AMF injection system to a six cylinder motor made by another manufacturer, so I can't just go out and pop the hood on my truck and see what the factory put in there.
Any information anyone can provide me about the 1995-1996 Ford 300 MAF/sequential injection systems would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
