Simply unbelievable how low some will stoop.
When they catch him, no punishment they (judicial system) give can equal the scorn with which the community will drown him.
When a good friend died (November, 1983), in his casket, we placed his most prized possessions (at his request).
• Remington 1100 Magnum (beside him)
• One box of Remington 3" magnum #2 copperplated shotshells (beside him)
• Hunting boots (beside his feet)
• Favorite hunting clothes (beside his feet)
• 1 goose feather (in his hands)
• Buck folding knife (inside his left front pocket)
• Photos of his wife and kids (in his inside suit jacket pocket)
• Wedding band (on his finger)
When the casket was closed and locked, I was standing there to make sure that nothing was tampered with.
I escorted the casket to the hearse and the casket never left my sight.
When the casket was lowered into the vault, then after the graveside memorial was concluded, I witnessed the casket lowered into the vault, the vault cover put in place and sealed, then watched the vault get covered over with dirt.
My friend's widow wanted to make sure that Rob's wishes were kept.
Sidenote: My friend was the most avid outdoorsman that I've ever met. That young man lived, breathed, loved hunting.
He wanted to be prepared for the 'goose fields' when he reached Heaven!
Grave robbers are the lowest lifeform there is, in my not-so-humble opinion.
I have caught people trying to steal wallets/purses from bicyclists & pedestrians who have been struck by cars. Some people are parasites.
We were at a Rays game one time, and we always got there early to stand in the outfield and try to get a ball hit into the stands during batting practice. One time this young boy got hit with a ball, I think in the head. People and paramedics were standing around helping him, and he set his baseball down on the ground. Wouldn't you know it, someone stole his baseball while he was being looked at. We couldn't believe it. Some people don't deserve to live.
I went on a "mercy" mission to rescue a friend of the wife's, who had slid off the road in the snow once. I picked her up, we drove off, she suddenly realized she had left an item in the car, we turned around to retrieve it............This was a matter of maybe 15 min, as we neared her rig, there was already a carload of teenagers trying to break in/damage the vehicle................Man, did they run!
Some people figure another's misfortune, is their gain...........parasites!
