A/C heater

Hey guys, a bit more progress, I now have the A/C heater unit on the bench thinking of a mount setup, it will have rubber isolators to reduce any motor noise/vibration being transfered into the cab.

Hi all, well the A/C heater is in, the glove box will be full of hoses. I had to put the A/C up fairly high so when I fit the CD tuner in the oval rail with the vents in , I'll have about 1/4'' clearance between the top of the CD and the bottom of the A/C.

Nice work. Where did you get the unit from? When I get around to building my truck, I would like to do something like this. (More for heat, I rarely use AC in a vehicle, I love open windows)

Hi everyone, thanks for the kind comments. I bought this unit from Ashdowns, an auto electrical mob here,the branch I went to is probably flooded now though. Speedy air spares sell on line (I think they are in Bundaberg Queensland) various hot rod shops sell them too. These units are very basic, no fancy controls $270 . Vintage Air looks to be a very nice setup but these go for about $1000 + here.
