Break in process??

OK, my new 2011 F350 SD is on the train and will be arriving in a couple of days. Is there any special break-in procedures? I'm not a professional driver and could use some pointers.

There is an old saying in Aus drive it like you stole it the main thing is not to stay on a constant speed for too long change your speed up and down

The owners manual provides good instructions on what to do in the first 1000 miles. Basically, vary your speed and no towing in the first 500. After that, I'm a believer in towing hard to assist the full drive train break-in.

Super ideas. Thanks. Since I don't have the trailer yet, I won't be towing for a while. So I won't worry about that part.
