Are you planning to pull anything?? I'm interested in EcoBoost with regarding to it's towing performance. Need something a bit more efficient for pulling our camper.
Just ordered f150 with ecoboost specifically to tow. Have 31 foot Airstream around 8000 lbs. It should be great!!! Last vehicle was e150 with 5.4. It was fine except when going uphill. Not enough horsepower.
I only tow about 4000 miles a year. 25000 miles for work etc. so am very pleased with normal driving fuel economy.

Reason: additional info
Eco-Boost is in my future...got to test drive one from Ford, they came by the house with it from the factory...I'm definately waiting to buy mine after they work out any bugs with the system and they settle down on the up-charge for the "new" thing from Ford....i'm in Chicagoland and if a dealer can upcharge this is where they like to do it!!
Build date was scheduled for yesterday. I'm wondering how long for it to arrive at dealer. They said maybe a couple weeks but I will be surprised if it comes by then. Getting anxious now, drove one of them yesterday. It was raining so had to take it easy.
i drove one....thoroughly impressed. my local dealer has a fully loaded lariat (black w/gold bottom trim) sunroof,3:55s.nav,ecoboost,i'm talking everything...$48kkkkk....i might could even get past the blonde woodgrain on this truck...

That's the only thing I HATE about the Lariat, how can they do so well with the interior and then think the blonde woodgrain looks good?
I actually like the woodgrain that is on the Lariat with the Adobe interior.
I looked at all the interiors offered and although I didn't care for the woodgrain I could of lived with it with the black leather, but I could not stand the adobe color. I guess that is why they give you choices.

i totally agree...what were they thinking! i might have already have one if it wasn't for that woodgrain....i'm not paying that much for a truck and not like something about it.....especially when you have to look at everytime you get in it...i dont know what to do because a lariat is what i want...
It's Tuxedo Black with chrome package, tow, off road, XLT convenience, XLT plus., keyless entry, & gray interior. I prefer the cloth seats for comfort, I've had the leather in previous trucks. The wheels are the chromed aluminum ones.
