I have A couple Questions on my fuel Injectors...

I have 2004 F250 6.0l

the truck truck run really bad when cold say below 40degs I checked the FICM and it gets about 48volts

1. when "buzzing" the Injector should they buzz or do they just "click" mine just click

2. all the Injector click but two... 6 and 7

3.when the truck is warmed up they all "click" and runs good

4. the only codes are stored code P0281,P0603,P0671

thanks for any help....

they should just click
sont worry about dtc p0603. that a pcm reset code. Check your batteries though.
when you say about 48v... whats about mean?
p0281 cyclinder 7 balance code. this could be an injector issue.
p0671 glowplug #1 issue.

Why when the truck is cold Injectors 6/7 will not "buzz" but when the engine warms up all the Injector "buzz" I am just tring to under stand..

I think I am going to "rebuzz" the injectors in the morning to double check the test...

thanks for your help

I take the only thing to do is to replace them? and how can I help the rest of the Injectors from going bad? what do you mean by "latching"

I change my oil about every 3500 mile and use OEM filters...

Are you referring to the stiction that occurs when the valve will not always open and close.

Hey Bigdog try a search in the 6.0L forum on stiction and you should find some answers there. This is a problem that affects alot of these trucks.

As posted before, search for stiction. Some things reported to help is changing to synthetic oil, rev x or hss.

Hope this helps
