Question What do these numbers mean
I have a 1986 5.0 out of a 1986 lincoln mark v11 there is somenumbers stamped on the engine (GY678914) could anyone tellme what do they mean.thanks

It looks like probably the partial VIN from the donor car. Year code, assembly plant code, consecutive unit number.
