Front Brake Caliper
Passenger side front brake
Been having a problem lately when braking I've been able to feel a pulse through the steering wheel when applying the brakes.
Now I've had my brakes apart several times so I'm quite familiar with them. I boiled it down to the passenger front caliper is where my problem is, so I went out and got a caliper today. Should be a pretty straight forward replacement. However..... I need to confirm that the brake line is connected correctly to the caliper.. please see my pics below to help me confirm this. Stupid me didn't pay enough attention when taking it apart. This is the only way I could reattach it and have the bolt hole line up. Just seems like the line is stretched tighter than I'd like to see.
Second..... after doing this the first time... bleeding the brakes i had tested it. Doesn't seem as if I got all the air out... I bleed it several times and the stream is nice an steady. But when depressing the pedal you have to go right to the floor to stop. Am I missing something when bleeding my brakes.
I have someone depress the pedal several times and then hold. At that time I open up my bleed valve a bit and let brake fluid come through. Close the valve and repeat the process.
or could I have air getting into this brake line somehow
thanks for your help.
Or do you think they gave me the wrong one?.. that brake connection to caliper...does that need to be on top?
