Problem with 4wd

I ordered AE from Clay and checked for 4WD codes. I got p1867 p1828 and p1820. I have the service manual and went through the pinpoint tests and still come up with nothing.
I know the 4WD selector switch is good and I know the high to low and low to high relays are good. I know for a fact the problem is they are not receiving the ground from the 4wd module because when I supply it ground it shifts into 4wd.
At this point I am planning on putting a nv271 manual t-case in because I prefer manual shift anyway. I know someone parting out a gas 03 and 06 f250 with auto trannys (mine is auto). My question is did those years have nv271 t-cases also? and do all trucks with auto transmissions have the same input spline count?
