p132b code?
As I understand it, the early 6.0's have had problems with turbos sticking and causing a p132b code. It only sticks when cold, runs fine with a good warm up. My father in law came up with an idea, has anyone developed a lubricant that can be sprayed into the intake that can go through the motor without any problems? Something to lubricate the Variable Geometry Turbo to help the veins move a bit easier? Otherwise I think I am going to pull it and give it a good once over. Any other suggestions? There is no lube that I know of that have been tried.
Though it is an intriguing idea ---- with the proviso that the temperatures in there are right up there, limiting the kind of oils you can use.
What I found is that the issue is rust, and if you let the turbo sit or not get "worked" it builds fast.
On the newer turbos, there is a coating on it that limits the problem.
